We are finally looking like we are on our way to closing. We had so many back and forth negotiations about stupid little things that at one point we thought the whole deal might fall through. The buyer has been a little difficult (to say the least) to deal with, but as of yesterday things are looking good. Our agent waited to put the "under contract" sign up until we got the inspection out of the way. I really thought we would never see it!

Bittersweet Good-bye!
Today was the kids last day at my school. Although it is always a welcomed day, it was really sad having to say good-bye to my kids and know that I will not be seeing them when they return to school in August. I have had 4 great years at Chattahoochee and it is even harder to say bye to some of my co-workers. Post planning starts tomorrow, so I do have another day to choke back the tears...
For all of those who have heard me talk about Lynn... here she is! She is seriously my "work mom" and has taken care of me and taught me soooo much over the years!! I don't know how I am going to make it without her!

This is one of the funniest people I have ever met, Shewanne. She is one of the special ed teachers. Her class actually got moved from my school last year. I didn't think I was going to make it without her, but luckily she stays in touch!

I just had to throw in one picture of some of the kids. This is a first grade class that I do inclusion with. Terry is the teacher and she is awesome! She has been wonderful by taking my kids every year and letting me come into her class to work with everyone!

At bus dismissal today, the ladies on my hall had a limbo line going... music and everything. They made all the kids go under the limbo stick on the way to the buses. Our hallway was certainly the most fun!

Mother's Day
Sorry that I am a little bit behind on my posting! We have had quite the last few weeks. The kids last day at my school is this Wednesday, so I have been extremely busy finishing up last minute paperwork and meetings. Stephen and I got an offer on our house and we are now "under contract!" Pending the inspection on Tuesday, we are set to close around June 27th! We don't yet have a house in Valdosta so the poor Lincoln's are going to have to make room for us in the meantime!
We were in West Point for Mother's Day. The whole family was there to celebrate.
