Stephen can hardly sleep!
Princesses Only!
Mary Beth's princess party was a big success! I can't believe this child is 4 years old now (well almost her b-day is actually on the 20th!)

One of the activities was making wands. This is my mom below helping my cousins Jordan and Payton. Jordan was our flower girl in our wedding. She is now in the 2nd grade! Time flies!
Boys did make an appearance at the party. We had to disguise them as princesses. See? Stephen blends right in.

Nothing new update...
Per Elizabeth's request, I am updating the blog. I haven't really put any new information on here because not much has changed around here. Parker and Julee did close on there house (it is in old Wood Valley for all of you Valdosta folks). It is an awesome place and I hope to have pictures up soon.
My job is going pretty well. I have learned some interesting areas of Valdosta better than my own neighborhood (think Hudson Dockett and Ora Lee West all you Valdostians). If anything my job keeps reminding me of how blessed I am. I do have some of the most adorable children on my case load. If it weren't a huge HIPPA no-no (for which I am sure I could be sued), I would take their pictures and post them so you could see these adorable babies I get to work with!
I have been thinking of all of my Chattahoochee Elementary friends this week. It was the first week back with kids which I know is so exhausting. Hope all went well there guys. I miss you so much!
We are headed to West Point this weekend. Mary Beth is celebrating her birthday. She will be 4 and is having a "Princess Party." (No boys allowed! :) I can't wait to get some good pictures from this.
Happy Friday everyone!

Back to the Grind...
I started my new job this week! I actually only had to work on Tuesday/Thursday and then start full time next week. I am now working for a private practice that is about 6 minutes from my house. It is such a big change (on so many levels) from my school job. I get to see kids both in the clinic and out at houses/daycare. I don't have to be at work until 8:30 which is a big change from having to drive 30 minutes to Duluth and be there by 7:30 every morning (sometimes 7!)
Of course there are pros and cons to every job, but for now I think this is a nice change for me.
Stephen has been working at Lincoln Realty since we moved back. This is their busiest time of year. Since all of those college kids are about to descend upon Valdosta, they have been renting apartments like crazy! We are trying to get settled in here. There is still a lot to do with the house, but all of that is going to take time. (I will try to get pictures up soon!)
I think I forgot to mention that Coffey and Maggie were here last Saturday! Coffey met up with her parents here in order to get Fancy back from them. They live in Orlando so Valdosta ended up being a good meeting point. It was great to get to visit with them too. Maggie, Jay, and John were on the way to St. George Island and decided to stop here and spend the night to break the trip up a little bit. I can't believe how big John gets every time that I see him. He will be 2 years old in August.
