A Few New Things...

Henderson tries out his first pair of overalls. I am still wondering what an (almost) 4 month old needs with all those pockets, but hey, I can't resist the cuteness.
We broke out the Jumperoo (just like an Exersaucer)... still a little too small for it (see the pillow under his feet?)
I bought Henderson a warm hat for those days that it actually drops below 85 degrees here.
Henderson has started bouncing himself while he is in the bouncey seat. He uses one leg! I tried to capture it in this picture.

Miss Laura (Ashley's mom) painted this picture for Henderson's nursery. It is an awesome gift! She is so talented - there really isn't much this woman can't do! I can't wait to hang it up!

Nannie comes to town!

Stephen was out at the hunting camp all weekend due to opening weekend of deer season. It was a great time for my mom to come into town to visit with Henderson and me. (THANK YOU again for coming Mom!!!) I had such a good time spending some quality time with my mom. Of course Henderson was VERY excited to see his Nannie!

Waiting patiently for Nannie's arrival.

SOOOO Happy Nannie is here!

A Little Holiday Shopping

Nannie told Henderson to start thinking about what he wanted for Christmas.

HHL - Henderson "Hot dog" Lincoln

Henderson got to go to his very first birthday party today. His buddy Evan had his 1st birthday and had a costume party. The parents also got in on the action. Henderson was a hot dog and Stephen and I went as Varsity workers. (Many thanks to Coffey for going to the Varsity and hooking us up with the hats!) Our costumes were a hit! Henderson was such a sport - event though it was during his nap time!

Icing on the Cookie

My friend Anna Cate, her husband Matt, and two of their friends in Birmingham opened a new business. The name of it is "Icing on the Cookie". I know many of you have had those wonderful cookies from (my friend Maggie's mom's store) "Two Smart Cookies." These cookies are the
same - just as tasty and adorable. Check out the website: www.icingonthecookie.net

Orvis Online Dog Photo Contest

Orvis Online Dog Photo Contest

Shared via AddThis

I really did enter the dogs in an Orvis contest. This is some link where you can donate a dollar per vote that goes to Canine Cancer Campaign....

Have a good weekend everyone!

Henderson is going to enjoy some time with his best pal, Mr. Octopus!

Stephen and I are getting our first "non-family" babysitter this weekend. We have an engagement party to go to and Honey and Grandpa are helping host it, so they obviously weren't available. Mr. Octopus said he could sit for a reduced rate...
Ha! Many thanks to Kelly for lining us up a sitter!

Cookie, Cookie, Cookie...laughing baby

Listening to your baby laugh is very addicting! Stephen discovered that Henderson really likes the word cookie. Hope you enjoy! I will obviously do anything to make him laugh! (We also went to grab the video camera and the battery was dead. This is shot via Stephen's iPhone.)

Fall is Here!!!

Henderson, Hendrix, and I made a trip over to West Point this past weekend while Stephen was out of town on a fishing trip. I was so nervous about making the 3 and a half hour drive over there by myself. I had no idea how Henderson would do (especially since he is not a big fan of the car seat!) Praise the Lord, I had nothing to worry about! My little angel boy was so sweet and both coming and going went VERY well. It was so great to see my family. Of course Dad took a million great photos. (You check them all out under "Granddaddy's pics").

We had no trouble getting Mr. Octopus to smile for the camera.

I threw this one in so all could see Henderson's adorable dimples!

My mom said the real pictures should have been of all the adults (including Uncle Brad, Aunt Katrina, Nannie, and me) jumping around waving, clapping, etc. to get these boys to look and smile!

Showing how it is done...

Jake and Hendrix jump in to show Frank and Henderson how to pose for the camera.
Ready for the fall Orvis cover
We really had a lot more success getting the dogs to cooperate than the children!

My Newest Thing...

Henderson has had really good head/neck control for a while, but he has just started to really prop up on his arms and hold his head up for longer periods of time. This is how I usually find him after naps.
