Ready for a baby?

Does anyone think my dog is going to have a hard time when the baby arrives??!?

Big Weekend!

We had a lot going on this weekend! On Friday night, we went to something called "Mystery Ball" at the Valdosta Country Club. Elizabeth and Thomas made it to town, along with Walton and Jenni, and Jacquelyn and Justin. They all came over to the house before hand along with Mark and Paige to have drinks and appetizers. It was a lot of fun!

On Saturday night, we headed over to the Coleman's to celebrate Walton's 30th birthday. It was a great night complete with a low country boil.

On Sunday, the Cowarts invited us over to celebrate Amy's 30th birthday. They had a small group over to roast oysters. Happy Birthday Amy!!! Now I am paying for the busy weekend with a cold. On the baby front, Stephen and I have felt our little boy give a few kicks and punches, but I don't think he is quite the mover that his cousin (baby Huguley) is...
Of course Stephen says our boy takes after me and likes to "sit around" rather than move...HA!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope everyone had a nice Valentine's Day. Stephen sent me these flowers on Thursday as a celebration of our recent news along with Valentine's Day. They are beautiful! We really didn't do much this weekend. The weather was bad on Saturday so we stayed in the house. Unfortunately, since I am not in the school system anymore, I do not get President's Day off so I will be at work tomorrow. Lincoln Realty apparently doesn't celebrate President's Day either. So if you are one of the lucky ones with the day off...ENJOY!!

Baby Boy Lincoln

It's a boy!

Baby Face

Stephen and I had our ultrasound today and found out that we are having a baby BOY! I was so surprised because for some reason I had convinced myself that I was having a girl. We are so excited and thrilled. We are deciding on a name right now, but we are waiting to tell until he arrives. This is going to kill my mother-in-law Kathy.

...In Sickness...

I had such a great weekend planned this past weekend. I headed to Macon on Friday to spend the night at Elizabeth and Thomas' house. Liz and I were planning on heading to Atlanta on Saturday for her baby shower. Little did I know that the 24 hour stomach virus was lurking. After a great dinner in Macon (where I got to see Martha, Wynne, and ADORABLE baby Wynne), we returned to the Street house and watched some TV. We went to bed about 11:00 or so and about an hour later I woke up to PURE MISERY!!! I was up all night long and held off calling Stephen until about 7:00 am. I can't begin to tell you what a rock star husband he is. He called my doctor to see what I needed to do, he rounded up my equally wonderful in-laws to drive him up to Macon to get me (and my car), and came to my rescue!! He was in Macon to pick me up by 11 and I swear got me back to Valdosta in record time. He bought Gatorade and everything else I could possibly need. **To all you husbands out there... you have no idea how important this type of behavior is when a girl is sick and away from home (and more importantly her mom)** Thank you to everyone who called to check on me. My mom even offered to drive down to Valdosta! Thank you to Steve and Kathy for giving up their Saturday to come to my aid. I really hated I had to miss the baby shower and seeing all of my friends, but luckily I am much better now. Most of all, I had to publicly thank my loving husband... I seriously owe him one!

Boys and Girls!!

I got some great news this morning from Brad and Katrina, as well as Ashley and Whitney!
Brad and Katrina are having a BOY! Ashley and Whitney are having a GIRL! I just had to report all of this good news. It sounds like the ultrasounds went well and the babies are healthy. There are so many blessings to thank God for! Stephen and I will find out next week (on Wednesday) what we are having. We can't wait!
