Last weekend, We joined some friends at lake Blackshear. It was a very fun and relaxing weekend. The guys were able to hunt while the girls just relaxed. Henderson had fun hanging out with his buddy Tripp. Many thanks to the Perry Family for a great weekend!!

What a GREAT birthday!

Thank you to everyone for your cards, notes, emails. text messages, etc! I had a wonderful day today. Stephen took me to lunch while Honey kept Henderson. I then got a chance to run some much needed errands. Later in the afternoon, Henderson and I went over to Kathryn and Charlie's house for a play date. Sarah had made cupcakes! So nice! I have included a few pictures from this afternoon.

He Turned Over!

I know a lot of you are thinking "big deal" and I use to be one of those people until I had a baby. I have no idea why but when your child goes through one of these milestones it is a "big deal" and this excitement comes over you (or at least it did for me) that is a little unexpected.

On Sunday, Stephen and I were dropping Henderson off in the church nursery. We had to wake him up from his morning nap to go to Sunday school/church so we tried putting him back down in one of the cribs in the nursery. He was facinated by a mobile attached to the crib he was in and kept arching his back and leaning his head back to look at it (he sleeps on his stomach). I went out to get the pager thing and when Stephen came out he said "look at Henderson checking out that mobile." When I glanced back in the room to look at him, he flipped over!!! I got to see it! I was so excited about it that I sent a text to my parents from Sunday school and called Stephen's parents when we got out of church. I am such a dork! Anyway, he hasn't done it since or you know I would be posting some video!

Just a continuation...

Henderson really likes when you mix the voice/the way you say "cookie" up a little. I know my voice is so annoying in these videos, but maybe the cuteness that is Henderson will make it worth it!

This is just more of the same video that is posted below, but I just had to post this one too. I hope I am not wearing out the video! I know my parents will appreciate it. They would probably even watch an hour video of Henderson sleeping, but then again I think that is pretty darn cute too.

He still thinks this is funny...

Henderson still thinks the word "cookie" is hilarious. Please take note at the end of this video when he really realizes that I am videoing him. He gets these huge eyes like "oh no, there's that thing again" and then gets serious. I am obviously so entertained by my child. He is so awesome!

Ticklish Baby

Henderson is ticklish and it is hysterical (to Stephen and me anyway!) We have another video that is way better than this one, but we took it with our JVC video camera. The video clips from that camera save to our computer in a weird format that isn't compatible with anything - so annoying. The Flip is so much easier for me. Anyway, I hope you enjoy. I threw in a few cute pictures of Henderson while I was posting pictures from the wedding weekend! Oh yeah - Coffey pointed out to me that I never actually mentioned where Henderson's name came from on the blog. I guess I was in a HUGE fog when he was born. Anyway, in case you didn't know...

Henderson was my granddaddy's name (my dad's dad) and Howard was Stephen's granddad's name (his dad's dad). So there you have it! Our sweet little Henderson Howard Lincoln!!
