FOR SALE!!!
Stephen and I worked all weekend on getting the house ready for sale. We woke up early and went to Lowe's then hit the yard. On our 2nd trip to Lowe's, we picked up a bunch of flowers to plant. We got home just before the rain hit really hard, so planting would have to wait. Since it was raining, we decided to finish up some things in the inside of the house which included moving our roll top desk out of one of the guest bedrooms and setting up the daybed. I was able to help Stephen get the top part of the desk off and moved to the basement. We got the bottom part out in the hallway and I about had a heart attack. Stephen tried to rally me and do some convincing that I could make it all the way to the basement. There was no way, so the desk had to sit right in the entry to our front door until some kind soul (which ended up being Walton) came and helped Stephen move it. At this point, I had just about had it... then we found out our washing machine had died on us. Lucky for us, Tim and Staci had us over to dinner. We showed up with an appetizer and two loads of laundry!
Sunday our real estate agent came over so that we could sign the listing agreement and go over everything. This all went really well! The weather was so bad that she waited to take pictures of the outside, but will be coming by today to do that. After she left, Stephen and I had to plant the flowers so that they would be ready for the picture. We got out there in the 40 degree weather and did it- NOT FUN!
This morning, Stephen put the sign out front. We were both kind of surprised how weird and sad it felt! I took a bunch of pictures of the house that I had planned on posting, but then realized that our computer had to be dismantled. Hopefully, I will be able to share them soon. Our house has never looked so good!!! I will be sure to post the listing soon. In the meantime, tell everyone you know that we have a great 3 bedroom/2 bath house for sale in Brookhaven!

Happy Easter!!
We had a great weekend in Valdosta! We were able to go down on Thursday night since I had Good Friday off. We went and looked at some houses on Friday...no offers yet. We are working hard to get our house ready and we should have in on the market by April 1st (which is also our 2 year anniversary!) Julee (Parker's girlfriend) and I went with Kathy (Stephen's mom) to do some shopping and have a pedicure. It was so funny because people kept thinking that Julee and I were sisters. One guy even asked us if we were twins! That isn't the first time that we have gotten that either. Maybe one day I will just be able to say "Yes!" No pressure, Parker:)
BTW - For all of those who know what I am talking about... In this picture I had just told everyone about Katie R's "out and down" thing with your head during pictures. Just look at how great the guys are at it!

The Last Supper

On Sunday at church, some of the church members put on the drama of the Last Supper. Brad was the disciple Thaddeus and my cousin Pate was in it too (although I can't remember who he was). For all of those who went to Springwood - Mr. Freeman would have been so proud!
I couldn't help but let out a little chuckle when I saw Brad and Pate (along with other church members) in those wigs!!!!

Coffey and Mark's shower
We had a his/hers shower for Lauren (aka Coffey) and Mark this past weekend. It was a lot of fun seeing everyone (especially Julie who made a surprise visit from NYC!!!) We are so excited about the upcoming wedding in Telluride in July. Stephen and I have already planned a week long trip and will stop over in Boulder. We haven't been back since Stephen moved back. We are excited to visit the place "where it all began!"
Here are a few pictures from the shower...

Oh yeah - Stephen shaved his beard. He threatened to go to the party with this new look... Thank goodness, I talked him out of it!
