I just returned from the doctor. I had my second and final ultrasound. Those things are so much fun. Since the baby is much bigger than last time, the images were harder to read. We did get some sweet glimpses of his face. The doctor says he is weighing in at a healthy 4 lbs 11 oz. This is an average weight and right on schedule. However, she mentioned that babies tend to gain .5 lbs each week from here on out. That means that if we make it to 40 weeks, this baby will weigh around 8 lbs!!! Needless to say, I hope he will come early. Everything on the ultrasound was normal...praise God! The baby has moved head down (and dr. said he probably will stay that way until birth) so that usually means we don't have to worry about him being breech.
I also want to say CONGRATS to our friends Brad and Sarah Soshnik on the birth of their little girl Julia Barbara Soshnik! She was born 2 days ago. I can't wait to see her!
