Halloween Weekend

I was thrilled that my mom and dad were able to be in town this weekend! Dad was able to take some great pictures of Henderson. We even took him back down to the church pumpkin patch to get some pictures. He refused to smile the whole time because he just wanted his Nannie to hold him. The picture below was as close as we got. This face just cracks me up.
We tried again later when we were at home and were able to get some cute ones (we made Nannie stay inside!)
Where are the pictures of Henderson in his Halloween costume, you ask? Um, that didn't go so well. At all. He ended up waking up with an extremely runny nose on Saturday and was whiny and miserable all day. He did not nap well either. We made one attempt at getting his costume on which resulted in a 20 minute crying session. We decided that it really wasn't worth it. Elmo next year, maybe? We did end up taking him to a little neighborhood gathering and he had a good time dressed as a Georgia Bulldog fan. Too bad he couldn't pull the team through.
I do think that Henderson is getting a cold. He has woken up a few times tonight crying because he can't breathe. I feel so bad for him, as we just got over a cold a few weeks ago. I guess this is how it's going to be?! I do notice when I pick him up from daycare that every child in there has some nice snot running down their nose. I guess there is just no way to avoid it.

I hope everyone had a great Halloween. It was so fun to see the kids in their costumes. I think my ultimate favorite was a girl (I am guessing about 10 years old) who came up to our door trick-or-treating who was dressed as a giant sushi roll. Too cute!
