Lots going on!

We certainly have been busy during the month of September! Please excuse my blog absence!

I can't even remember if I posted about going to Savannah for our friend Quinn's wedding so if I did already, sorry. We went to Savannah on the weekend of September 10 for the wedding and it was the first time we have ever left David. We figured out that we hadn't left Henderson in over a year either. It was a much needed weekend away and we had a wonderful time. Steve and Kathy bravely took on both boys for the weekend and all was well. I think they were exhausted! My mom and dad ended up coming into town after we got home to help out while I was at work (to give Kathy a little break). The next weekend, we had David's baptism. My whole family was able to come into town which meant the world to me. We had such a great time being together. David did FANTASTIC during the service and totally redeemed the Lincoln family (just a reminder that Henderson screamed the whole time during his). Henderson was with us during the baptism too and he also did great. It was such a relief!

After that terrific weekend, Stephen and I packed up the kids and headed down to St. George Island on Wednesday for a vacation with the Lincoln's. We had a blast and Henderson really enjoyed the beach. David decided he couldn't contain his excitement for being on vacation and chose to wake up every morning before 6 am. Ugh. More on his poor sleeping later...

I am posting a few pictures, but hope to get more up soon. I am just too exhausted after all we have been doing (and a baby that now wants to be an early bird).

We are so happy that Grandmother and Aunt Carol were able to come over from Thomasville!

Mom found this "Cozy Coupe" at a flea market and paid 8 bucks for it. She has gotten every penny out of it! I can't tell you how many times Henderson opened and closed that door.

This is the only picture I could find of the kids together (minus David). So happy to have my favorite kids here. Frank, Jack, and Mary Beth were constant entertainment for Henderson. He talks about his cousins nonstop.

LOVE my sweet baby David. What joy he has added to our lives:-)
