After arriving in Boulder, Stephen and I decided to take a little trip over to Ft. Collins. We stopped in at the New Belgium Brewery. As most of you know, this is home to the ever famous beer called Fat Tire. For those of you who do not know, this beer is not distributed in the south (I think as far as they go is Texas. Something about it being on a truck too long ruins the flavor?) I think this is why when anyone comes to Colorado from the south, this is the first sweet nectar they want to drink. I personally like the Sunshine Wheat and Skinny Dip beer that they make better...gasp!
Just a little fact for all of you Fat Tire fans. They now make Fat Tire in a can. They started this a few weeks ago. Now you can take that ole beer anywhere, like the beach. Oh wait, I guess none of us Georgians will be taking it anywhere.
While in Ft. Collins, we were able to meet up with Stephen's high school buddy (and now mine) Whitney and her husband Jody. It was so fun to see them!
