Stephen, Henderson, Hendrix, and I had our first "just our family" trip ever! We have obviously been on lots of different fun trips, but never with just the 4 of us. After a very busy two months for Stephen, we decided to get away since things had calmed down at Lincoln Realty. We took off for Destin on Friday morning and came back today. It was a great trip, but Stephen and I have talked numerous times about how much things have changed since our "before baby" beach trips. We would have loved to log a little more beach time, but due to nap, lunch, and a child that hates the sand, that just wasn't happening this time. We do look forward to many beach trips in the future and we realize that things will change so quickly!
We did go to lunch one day at Stinky's which is one of our favorite spots. They have a kid's shirt that says "I'm a stinker" on the front and has their logo on the back. I just had to get it! I didn't make any other clothing purchases the whole time (even with a quick trip to the outlets!), but I love this shirt - so cute!

Even though Henderson hates the sand, he was a sweet boy on the beach. He loves the ocean and he would also hang out in the baby pool.
