We got back on Saturday from a week long trip to the beach with my whole family. Of course a trip would not be complete without Henderson getting sick. Yep, we were at the Immediate Care place first thing Monday morning. Poor Henderson was miserable. He ended up having a sinus infection and croup. We did manage to have a great time despite the illness (thanks to my wonderful family who was there to help!) I will mention that my sweet David hardly made a sound the whole trip. What an angel! More on the trip later....
David had his 2 month appointment today (a little late). My big ole beefy boy weighed in at 15 lbs 8 oz (95th percentile!!!) He is 23.5 inches long (50th percentile) My doctor said he was doing great. He had to get shots which always kills me. It was very sad, but he recovered pretty quickly. He was so exhausted by the end of the day that I had to feed him a little early and put him in the bed!
He is doing really well on a schedule. I am a schedule fan. I do realize that schedules are not for everyone, but they work for the Lincoln boys. David starts his day at 7 am and eats every 4 hours. He naps in the morning from about 9-11 and then again from 1-3. He will take a short nap around 5. I put him to bed around 7:30 and he sleeps until about 4 or 5 am. I feed him and put him right back down until 7. I think this is pretty good for an 11 week old baby (remember that he also weighs 15 lbs so that helps!) I do remember that Henderson was sleeping 7 pm- 7 am by 12 weeks old, so we shall see...
I head back to work soon. I have been so thankful for this time to be with my babies. I will still be working part time which is so awesome. I also have to mention that Henderson will be an official TWO YEAR old in about 2 weeks (although he has been telling people that he is two for a few months:) I am going to try and get some pictures posted when my dad gets finished going through all 900 and something that he took.

I am jealous- David sleeps better than my 9 month old! Maybe I should try your schedule.
