Just a quick update...
David did great this morning at the doctors office. We saw our wonderful nurse practitioner, Jenny. He did have to get some shots and on the first one he didn't even cry. The second one got him though and he only cried for a second. He weighs 17 lbs 14 oz (81st percentile, I think).
He is now going to start taking Zantac due to suspected reflux. There were number of factors that pointed to reflux being the issue. Jenny also felt like the fact that he always seems to want to eat is not due to him being hungry, but that the milk soothes the burning - then he ends up getting too full which leads to more reflux. It can be a vicious cycle. We shall see if the medicine helps. She said the results aren't always that great and usually just age and time make things better.
She did say we could go ahead and start trying some baby food. I have done the rice a few times, but I haven't given it too him much. I am going to try some vegetables soon.
