There's not too much to report on around here. David has his doctors appointment tomorrow, so I will finally get to see how much the big boy weighs. He is huge. He is wearing 9 month old clothes and size 3 diapers. He has been going through a really fussy period over the last couple of weeks and we really can't pin point what it is. I will say that I think he is constantly hungry (imagine that). He eats 4 times a day and while obviously I have no idea how much he is getting when he nurses, I do know that when he gets a bottle, he can suck down 8 oz pretty fast. I think it might be time for him to start getting some baby food. I am going to discuss this with my doctor tomorrow.
A little info on our oldest: Henderson is jabbering up a storm these days. I always love to hear what comes out of his mouth. I love that he is a very polite little boy and always says things like thank you and excuse me.
He still loves Elmo, but is also very into Cars and Thomas. His favorite "toy" is my iPhone. He will do anything to get a Popsicle! He really wants to spend most of his time outside which is so hard right now because it is so hot. I love it when he just randomly comes up and gives me hugs or a kiss. Awwww! He absolutely loves music. He loves to sing and do the motions. His Honey always sings "He's got the whole world in his hands..." to him. We now have to sing it all the time and he names the people he wants to sing about for each verse. We normally have to go through the whole extended family before we can stop. It is adorable. He calls his brother "Baby David" never just David. That in turn makes us call him Baby David (hope he doesn't go off to college being known as "Baby David"). Life with two is definitely different. There is NO sitting down and relaxing anymore! I have no idea how single parents do it. Stephen and I definitely have to "divide and conquer" and I don't know what I would do without Stephen's help. Life is busy and crazy and exhausting, but life is SO GOOD!
He took a little bit of an aggressive approach with the girls.
