Here we are at 34 weeks. Major countdown has begun for new baby! 6 weeks to go and I can't believe it. (By the way - I was born about 6 weeks early!) Last week was a zoo around here. We had some work done in our kitchen. Soon after that was done, we found out that our air conditioner had broken and was going to require a whole new unit. BOOOOOOOOOO! No fun! Obviously AC is something that you can't do without down here in Valdosta, so we had to bite the bullet and replace it. We had also already scheduled getting our great room painted, so we did go ahead with it. Needless to say, we had a people in and out of here all week last week.
We have gotten Henderson moved into his new room. It was luckily a very easy transition and I think he really likes it. He is still in a crib (that Stephen's cousin Kelly was kind enough to lend us), but does now have a twin bed in his room. It has all come together so nicely and I will try to get some pictures posted. I really just need to find some kind of art for the walls. The nursery looks very similar to when Henderson was in there - just some new, simple bedding. I have gotten Henderson's old clothes down from storage. It is so hard to believe he was ever that small!
I am feeling pretty good. I do get so, very tired by the end of the day. I had forgotten about that. It seems a little harder now that I have Henderson to tend to. I seriously can't imagine how it is going to work when we have these sleepless nights ahead of us. I am at the point of wondering how my belly can stretch anymore. That is starting to get uncomfortable too (and still 6 weeks to go!) I am still amazed at how differently two pregnancies can be. I was fortunte with both boys to have pretty easy pregnancies, but this one has just flown by. I can't complain one bit. This one has been really easy (I hope that doesn't mean difficult labor!!!)
In big news - We do finally have a name for this little guy! I am so relieved. I really didn't want to wait until I was in labor. Women do crazy things when in labor and I was scared I would agree to something terrible. We aren't telling the name, so you will have to wait a little longer, but just know that he does, in fact, have one!
